Contract Services

A one stop shop to handle contractors' needs. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Advertising and Distributing Tenders

Contract Services advertises and distributes Yukon government public tenders. Information on all publicly advertised tenders is available through this office. The Contract Services office distributes information on all publicly advertised tenders through the Whitehorse Office and through the Regional Services Offices of Property Management in Dawson City, Haines Junction and Watson Lake.

Public Tender Openings

All those who are interested may attend openings for publicly advertised tenders at Contract Services on the day of closing.

Contract Services responds to inquiries regarding Government of Yukon tendering process.

Contract Services serves as the contact point for subcontractors who have concerns about outstanding payments from contractors on government construction contracts.

Procurement Services

Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Procurement Services is delegated as the central authority for buying goods used by all departments and agencies. Staff works to support the development and expansion of local manufacturing by purchasing local products when feasible and economically viable.

Vendors are urged to make their products known to Purchasing by completing and forwarding the Commodities Vendor Index ( 19KB).
