A one stop shop to handle contractors' needs. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Advertising and Distributing Tenders

Contract Services advertises and distributes Yukon government public tenders. Information on all publicly advertised tenders is available through this office. The Contract Services office distributes information on all publicly advertised tenders through the Whitehorse Office and through the Regional Services Offices of Property Management in Dawson City, Haines Junction and Watson Lake as well as through the Territorial Agents in Dawson City, Faro, Haines Junction, Mayo and Watson Lake.

Public Tender Openings

All those who are interested may attend openings for publicly advertised tenders at Contract Services on the day of closing. Results of tender openings are available after business hours on our voice mail at (867) 667-5385.

Contracting Workshops

Contract Services offers a "Contracting with the Yukon Government" orientation workshop to interested groups and organizations.  For details, contact the Contract Services Branch of the Department of Highways and Public Works at (867) 667-5385.

This workshop includes a basic introduction regarding who can contract and what kinds of contracting the government does, plus an introduction to the contracting process and a listing of the services that the Contract Services area offers.
