Preliminary Findings

In late 2015 and early 2016, the panel sought feedback from the Yukon business community who have experience doing procurement with Yukon government, as well as Yukon government staff.

The input and ideas gathered assisted in the development of recommendations for addressing concerns raised and issues identified.

The Procurement Advisory Panel participated in the Industry Conference February 23 & 24, 2016. The Panel made two presentations: Preliminary Findings and Procurement Complaint Mechanisms – Considerations for (Re) Design.

The Panel’s Interim Report and Consolidated List of Issues were made available to the public at the Industry Conference.

The Interim Report and Consolidated List of Issues identify the general themes of their findings and provides a summary of the issues raised by vendors, vendor associations, community representatives and government staff, during interviews with the Panel and by way of written input.
