The Transportation Division manages improvements and construction on 4,850 kilometers of road in Yukon.
248 km of roads are paved, 1,987 km are covered with Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST), and 2,617 km are gravel.
700 km of highway right-of-way, on average, receive vegetation control each year.
The Transportation Engineering branch manages 128 bridges on the maintained highway system throughout Yukon.
