Responsibilities

• transportation planning
• development of the capital budget, related to planning
• monitoring the condition of transportation infrastructure for planning and management purposes
• maintaining information on land and granular resources associated with highway infrastructure for planning, operational and management purposes
• road infrastructure safety analysis
• design, tendering and construction supervision related to the government’s highway construction program
• providing technical support to Transportation Maintenance Branch
• providing technical support to the Aviation Branch
