The Aviation Branch develops and operates 4 airports and 25 aerodromes. It also manages the Yukon Community Aerodrome Radio Station (CARS) program on behalf of NAV CANADA.

The CARS program provides aircraft landing and takeoff advisory radio communications, flight planning assistance and weather observations at eight airports/aerodromes.

For useful tips that will help you proceed through Pre-Board Screening more efficiently, visit Canadian Air Transport Security Authority  and Transport Canada - Tips for Travellers.

The Airport Traffic Directives for the Operation of Vehicles on Airport Movement Areas booklet contains the information necessary to obtain
• Airside Vehicle Operators Permits (AVOP), and
• Restricted Area passes to operate on the airside of Yukon airports.
