Corporate Services

The Corporate Services section of the Department of Highways and Public Works helps the other branches in the department by communicating government priorities and providing central expertise in planning, communications, finance, human resources, information & systems management, and risk management. It also helps all government departments by providing contract services.

The Corporate Services branch includes:

Contract Services, which provides advice, training and consultation in regards to the government's contracting activities.

The Risk Management section, which administers the Yukon government's liability and property insurance.

Information Management, which provides systems administration, business and process analysis, information systems development, records management and ATIPP for the department..

Personnel Services, which provides expertise in human resource management for the department.

Finance and Administration, which helps the branches within the department by communicating priorities and providing expertise in financial functions.

Policy and Communications, which provides policy and communications advice and help to branches and coordinates the department's strategic planning and communications activities.
