George Black (Dawson City) Ferry

The George Black Ferry ceased operations for the season on Sunday, October 16, 2016.

How to use the ferry

The ferry operates:

24 hours per day until mid-September

12 hours a day from mid-September to mid-October.

 

The average ferry crossing is six to seven minutes with variations between morning and night traffic flow.

 

RVs and other motor vehicles can also cross on the ferry, though they may have a wait a bit longer, depending on demand.

Ross River (Pelly Barge) Ferry

The Pelly Barge's large day of operation for the season will be October 12, 2016. 

How to use the ferry

The ferry operates:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with an hour-long break between noon and 1:00 PM), 7 days a week

It usually ceases operations in mid-to-late October, depending on ice and weather conditions.
